Made from fully ripe grapes grown around the town of Melnik in the Struma Valley, South West Bulgaria. After long cold maceration the wine has been fermented in temperature controlled still vats to preserve the flavour intensity. It has a gentle lingering bouquet of ripe tropical fruit and blackcurrant leaf complimenting a full bodied, dry but soft and fruity palate. The finish is long and fresh. Ideal with fish and white meat dishes and salads. Serve chilled to 10-12° C.
